Cryptic Fate has been a defining name in Bangladeshi metal since 1993, one of the pioneering acts that helped shape the country’s underground rock and metal scene alongside bands like Artcell and Black. After an eighteen-year wait, the band returned in 2024 with “Noy Maash” (Nine Months), a concept album built around the emotional weight of the 1971 Liberation War.

Decades into their career, the band still plays with the same intensity that built their reputation in the first place and that energy is exactly what I tried to hold onto behind the lens.
