What I Learned Shooting Old Dhaka
The narrow lanes taught me more about patience and light than any course ever could. A month spent with nothing but a camera and the morning streets.

Shooting Concerts with Prime Lenses
Fast glass, slow thinking. The case for simplifying your kit when you walk into a venue — and why less gear often means better images.

Finding Stillness in Landscape Photography
It is not about the location. It is about the decision to stop, look, and wait. My approach to finding quiet in a noisy world.

The person behind the lens
Sayeed
Bin
Mohiuddin.
“He doesn’t chase the shot. He waits until the shot has no choice but to happen.”
Sayeed learned photography the way most honest things are learned — by showing up before anyone else, staying after everyone left, and making peace with the ones that got away.
Based in Dhaka, he works at the intersection of documentary truth and visual art. His subjects range from the organised chaos of Old Dhaka’s streets to the deliberate stillness of a landscape at first light. From the front row of a concert pit where the music vibrates through the floor, to a quiet food studio where light is sculpted by the hour.
He has built visual stories for UNDP, Deutsche Welle, and BRAC. Photographed meals that earned Michelin attention. Shot concerts where the sweat on the stage lights was a compositional element. The thread connecting all of it: finding the quiet drama hiding in plain sight.
