Sayeed Bin Mohiuddin — known on his work as Sayeed BM — is a photographer based in Dhaka, Bangladesh, shooting street, concert, food and landscape work for the past eight years. What began as a way to look at a familiar city differently turned into a full second practice, one he now runs alongside a full-time career in IT and governance — shooting in the hours before work, after it, and on every weekend he can protect.
The camera didn’t change what I saw. It made me stop and actually look.
Commissioned work has taken him into restaurant kitchens, clothing brand shoots, NGO field visits and campaigns for multinational corporations — including work for BRAC, Deutsche Welle, UNDP, Reckitt and Foodpanda. The thread running through all of it is the same: finding one real moment inside a set-up one, whether that’s a concert pit at full volume or a plate of food under studio light.
